Product Marketing Manager - Money Transfer

OANDA is looking for an experienced Product marketing professional to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of marketing activities that will drive OANDA’s newest line of business.

Based on customer and market insights, you will craft the product messaging and core positioning, and create innovative, effective go-to-market programs that drive revenue and grow product usage.  

You will help define the product vision and translate technical capabilities into consumer benefits, a crucial part of the job.  

You will help develop the strategy and manage digital marketing campaigns that drive demand.

  • Planning - Develop marketing plans to support the strategic vision.
  • Product positioning - Craft core product positioning and messaging that differentiates OANDA in the market.
  • Campaign development, execution – Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign analysis – Maximize the effectiveness and optimize ROI of digital and email marketing campaigns.
  • Product roadmap - Identify product feature and market opportunities.
  • Customer nurturing – Develop and execute customer retention and account management programs.


  • 2-4 years of marketing experience with a strong product marketing background
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing (MBA an asset)
  • Experience in a financial services online business is a plus
  • Passion for web-based technology
  • Experience working in Agile methodology an asset
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with web analytics software and implementation (Google Analytics; Mobile Apps Analytics; Adwords)
  • Proficiency with marketing automation software and customer experience optimization software a plus (Marketo, Optimizely)
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with cross-functional teams, global divisions, third parties and agencies.
  • Positive attitude, flexible nature, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A highly detailed individual with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple Projects.
