Product Manager – Solutions for Business

Position Summary:


Reporting to the Managing Director responsible for OANDA’s Solutions for Business offering, you will have the opportunity to drive growth in OANDA’s B2B product offerings.

This Product Manager position will be focused on improving OANDA’s SaaS offering of  FX data and analytics for businesses worldwide. Trusted by tax authorities, audit firms, thousands of companies and millions of individuals globally, OANDA is the gold standard in exchange rates data and is used by top brands such as Twitter, Tesla, AirBnb and FedEx . Our Exchange Rates API powers thousands of organizations globally and their ERPs, accounting software, treasury platforms and more. The Historical Currency Converter by OANDA has become the go-to-source for accountants and auditors globally to spot-check FX rates as well as download data for analysis and reporting.

You will help define the product vision and translate technical capabilities into benefits for OANDA’s thousands of business clients globally. Defining your strategy means you must have an in-depth understanding of your customers, be on top industry trends and competitors, and have an efficient process for managing the data and metrics around your product to drive your decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and optimizing the customer experience for your product portfolio
  • Managing the product development life cycle from budget and roadmap planning to tactical execution and measuring success criteria
  • Defining or adjusting internal business processes to optimize product delivery cycles
  • Maintaining a prioritized feature backlog while defining the overall product roadmap
  • Specifying detailed requirements for new product features
  • Working with engineering and design to translate your product strategy into user stories and wireframes
  • Exhibit sound product judgment, present clear measurable objectives and prioritize initiatives that will lead to achieving business goals
  • Developing and implementing global go-to-market plans, working with all departments to execute
  • Supporting analytics to measure success and identify areas of improvement
  • Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and strategic opportunities
  • Monitoring and assessing the competitive landscape
  • Managing customer beta programs - assist early adopters, resolve issues, and collect feedback
  • Clearly communicate product ideas and benefits to our users and internal stakeholders
  • Driving implementation across engineering, design and marketing communications

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3 Years or more working as a product manager
  • Experience with both product strategy and implementation for SaaS B2B clients in a global market
  • Ability to define and communicate a roadmap for your product areas based on the input from stakeholders and key customers
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams while remaining decisive and displaying sound judgment
  • Experience in an Agile or Lean software development environment
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, develop workflows, multi-task and delegate to ensure delivery to agreed upon deadlines
  • Undergraduate university degree in finance, economics, business administration, computer science, math, or a related discipline
  • A positive attitude, flexible nature, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment are all a must
  • Experience in the FinTech space a plus
